Moms Using CBD as a Side Hustle

Moms using CBD as a side hustle with direct selling

I review a lot of brands of CBD on this site over on this page, and one thing that I look for is the company behind the brand. I want to know that I’m getting the best product available, from the most reputable source. Aside from looking at the product quality, I take a deep look at the company information to find out about the team behind it. Let’s face it, this is for medicinal purposes, so I’m not going to take this decision lightly on where I choose to buy my CBD.

That’s what caught my eye when I was browsing the news today and came across this article that talks about moms who are making some extra money on the side by doing direct-selling of CBD products. I had to give it a full read and see what it is all about since it is contrary to my usual way of buying these kinds of products.

The New Side Hustle for Moms – CBD

The article tells the story of Teressa Sworsky in Illinois, who started using CBD products on her dog to bring relief for her pain, as well as restore overall wellness and happiness. After seeing how well that it workd for her pet, she realized that she couldn’t keep it to herself and set about selling it so she could spread awareness and make some side money.

The company that she does direct-selling for is called HempWorx, which I’ll be giving a shot and putting a review up on here soon. I am curious about this sales method, as I hadn’t heard about direct-selling in this industry before. We all know what direct-selling is, even if not by name. Who here doesn’t have a Facebook feed that isn’t full of friends and family hawking products? Whether it be supplements, or candles, or leggings, or cosmetics, or skin care or whatever the case may be, it seems like we are inundated with acquaintances flooding our feed with products and brands they represent.

My Thoughts

This is the first case I’ve heard of for selling products in this industry via this method. I’m not sure how to feel about it. For me, personally, I like to know everything I can about the brand and the product before I buy something that I’ll be taking medicinally. I suggest that, if you come across a friend or family selling this, you do your research on the company. Don’t just take your friend’s word for it. Go the extra mile to find out about the company and make sure you are buying from a reputable brand and are getting high quality products.

I’m not saying that HempWorx is an inferior brand – I don’t know at this time, and will be doing my own first-hand account very soon. For me, I’d rather just buy directly from the source at one of the recommendations I provide here to have a little more peace of mind, and to not convulute any relationship I have with the direct seller.

What are your thoughts – would you buy CBD products via direct-selling, or do you like to go buy it directly instead? Leave your comments below!
