Following up on my post about using an inversion table to grow taller, I bought an inversion table and put it an empty space in my basement and began using it regularly. All I can say is I wish I had bought this years ago!
Not that I’m particularly using it to grow taller (but it wouldn’t hurt – I’m not short by no means, but I’m not a looming giant, either), but the relief that it has brought to my spine just can’t be described. I have always had issues with my back, probably because I sleep awkwardly, and regular visits to the gym and pounding out miles on the pavement doesn’t do me any favors as well.
This equipment has been an absolute lifesaver as I’ve never had such comfort in my back since I started using it. It certainly has saved me a number of visits to the chiropractor – it’s more than paid for itself already in that regard.

ITM4800 Advanced Heat and Massage Therapeutic Inversion Table
Since you don’t really see these all that often in stores (I wouldn’t even begin to know where to look), I had to take a leap of faith on this purchase and relied heavily on the customer reviews on Amazon. With over 600 reviews and a 4+ rating, and a price point that fit my budget, this looked like a winner to me. This investment has paid off in spades.
What I Like About This Inversion Table
That last one is what really sets this apart from the other options I looked at. Most of them are just tables used for inverting your body, no other frills. The heat and massage pad feels amazing and takes the relaxation of this equipment to another level. It has a cord that plugs into the wall to power it. You can even remove this pad and use it while you’re sitting on the couch or in bed as well.
The 6-angle pin system works really well. Other models that I looked at had a tether straps system. This mechanism on the Innova Inversion Table makes it so easy to adjust my desired angle. As you can see in the photos, it offers a wide range of angles.
Whether you are leaned back just slightly, or fully inverted 180 degrees, it is easy to get into position and I feel comfortable and secure at all times.
What It Does For Me
Pain in the spine is caused by compression of the vertebrae. Running outdoors, with my feet pounding on the hard concrete, sends even more shock to my bones and joints. By using this inversion table, my spine decompresses and relaxes. It opens up the blood flow between the vertebrae, which helps with circulation all around my body. I’m so relaxed when I’m laying in this, and I come out of each session feeling like a million bucks. I just wish I had started using this sooner!
