I try to have a salad every day, whether it be at lunch or dinner. Green salads have no fat and have so many phytonutrients that keep your body working at its best. Try to get one in your diet every day, just stay away from fatty dressings!
Another vegetable that is mostly water and fiber, with zero carbs and zero fat! These make a great addition to a leafy green salad. You can also cut them into dipping sticks, like a carrot or celery, to enjoy with your favorite veggie dip.
Tons of fiber, zero fat, and low in calories makes this a great vegetable for losing weight. Another benefit is that they, like many veggies, are so versatile. You can have them hot or cold, raw or cooked, all alone or as part of a dish.
