Wasp Nests to Tighten Vaginas?

Ok, I’ve heard some crazy things in my day, but when I was browsing around the news online today I saw something that totally shocked me. I’m a big fan of feminine rejuvenation and have taken the proper, safe course in doing so. There are a ton of products out there that naturally work to restore moisture to the area and tighten up your nether parts that aren’t quite as firm as they used to be.

While I’m all for natural products, some people out there have taken this to extremes and I just had to comment on this.

Ok, seriously, read that again. I can’t believe that people are actually doing this. Just go buy a topical product from Amazon or something. You won’t see me near something as bizarre as this. I came across this article and it shocked me for a bit. Alright, so the shock died down a little bit when I read through the article carefully and saw that they are using dried, ground wasp nests.

At first my thought it was like a fresh one with nectar… and the possibility that they didn’t get all the wasps out carefully enough? Just the thought of a wasp hiding in a little nook and cranny, then rubbing that on my va-jay-jay just gives me the chills.

So it isn’t as extreme as the headline led me to believe, but still, doctors are cautioning against this practice. Apparently, it runs a lot of risks. One of the benefits of using a feminine rejuvenation product is that it restores hydration to the area. Using dried wasp nests has the exact opposite effects, with doctors warning that it can dry up all your natural vagina mucus.

This has a number of bad side effects. First of all, who wants to be dry down there? That’s not healthy. Especially during sex, it can lead to abrasions from all the friction it causes. No thank you. Your natural mucosa act as a lubricant, not to mention preserve your feminine health. There is good bacteria in there, and drying it up with a wasp nest destroys it.

There’s a good quote in the article from Dr. Jen Gunter, a gynecologist from New York. “Here’s a pro-tip, if something burns when you apply it to the vagina, it is generally bad for the vagina.” So true, and not just for the vaginal area. It’s a good credo to live by for all kinds of topical products you apply.

There is a misconception among women that a damp vagina means an unhealthy vagina. That couldn’t be further from the truth. As explained above, those natural oils are healthy for you, containing good bacteria that protects you. Don’t dry it up!

What to Use Instead

Blac Chyna’s Lightening Cream

Blac Chyna is going the route of Sammy Sosa and before him – Michael Jackson – and what I mean by that is she is doing her best to be white.  She’s getting a lot of commentary online about her promotion of the product, as well as her attempt at becoming several shades whiter.  Today I’m going to talk about just what the heck is going on here!

Does Blac Chyna Bleach Her Skin?

The story first ran (well, at least I first saw it) at BET.

Of course, I did some further digging around and found this picture of her promoting this product that of all places was in Lagos, Nigeria.

I’m not a marketing expert, but wouldn’t it seem like a planning fail to launch a product in Nigeria of all places?  Most people pick New York, Miami, Los Angeles, heck, even Atlanta.  But Nigeria?  Seriously?

I’m going to keep you all updated on this topic as well as address the rumors of is Blac Chyna trying to be white when I get more information.

Tips for Stronger Hip Flexors

Everyone wants to cut that v-shape into their midsection, but not many know how to go about making it happen. For one, it takes time in the kitchen, making smart choices with food. You can’t have fat covering up your stomach and love handles hanging around your waist if you want those hip muscles to show.

The other half of the battle is performing the right exercises in the gym to isolate these muscles so that they really pop. Continue reading below where I’ll go into detail on a number of moves you can add to your routine to get these muscles to flare.

Flex Your Hip Flexors

These muscles are absolutely crucial for movement, regardless if you are an elite athlete or just an average joe. These muscles connect your femur (thigh bone) to your pelvis. They are engaged in pretty much every movement that you do, so beyond aesthetic reasons, it is important to keep this muscle group strengthened and toned. Not taking care of these muscles is a shortcut to not being able to move around very well in older age.

Here are a number of things that you can do to make sure they are kept strong, as well as make for an impressive looking physique.

Loosen the Tension

The first step won’t be any kind of resistance exercise, rather it is all about loosening up this area. Most of us spend all day sitting at a desk.

You need to warm these muscles up and release all the tension that is in there. Get yourself a foam roller, or if you don’t have that, you can roll yourself on top of a tennis ball or lacrosse ball.

Dig really deep into your hip muscle with all your body weight, working out the knots as best you can.

Bridges

If you do any yoga, you’re already familiar with this pose. Lay flat on your back with your feet flat on the floor.

The above depiction is a little advanced, so for beginners, you can keep your hands flat by your side and your shoulders on the ground.

Thrust your pelvic area to the sky as far as you can. This will stretch out the hip flexor muscles. Keep at the top position for as long as you can, feeling the burn in your pelvis. That’s your hip flexors getting a workout!

Sensing a common theme here? You can do all of these stretches at home!

For this one, stand straight up with your feet together. Take one long step forward with one foot.

With the other leg, bend your knee and bring it until it’s only about an inch off the ground. Feel the stretch in your pelvis.

Maintain this low position for 10 seconds, then return to the starting position and repeat the exercise with the other foot.

In Conclusion

The key to all of these exercises is stretching and isolating the pelvic muscles to keep the hip flexors strong. You can perform these anywhere, so do them regularly! This is just the tip of the iceberg, but you get the idea. You can also do mountain climbers, leg raises, squats, and hip flexion to target this area. The important part is just keeping this area limber and strong as it is crucial for all movement.

Keep up with these exercises, follow a proper diet, and you’ll be shredded in no time!

Botox Gone Wrong

I preach this over and over on this site (hlcomic.com) – going natural is the way to live. When it comes to diet, I prefer natural foods, organic whenever possible. For supplements, I go for the purest products that are 100% natural. It’s something I endeavor in practically every aspect of my life.

Granted, Botox isn’t “going under the knife”, rather it is a filler that is inserted via injection. In any case, it’s a cosmetic procedure that I group in with all other kinds of cosmetic surgery. They need to know the proper way to perform the procedure, the right amount to be injected, the precise placement of the injections, etc. You’re risking a lot by having someone not qualified to perform this kind of injection. If you don’t choose wisely, well the results are not good…
